This film was made in Super 8mm in 1983 shortly before the end of the civil-military dictatorship and Ernesto Sabato was summoned to preside over the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons (CONADEP). In 2023 this material was recovered by his mentor Ana María Novick, then it was digitized, it had a final editing cut and Ernesto's grandson, Guido Sabato composed the music. I want to thank the entire team named here who made it possible for this document to reach people to learn a little more about Ernesto, a notable Argentine writer, who was also a painter and physicist. His novels El Túnel, Sobre Héroes y Tumbas and Abbadón el Exterminador are part of the Argentine literary legacy.
