Synopsis
In Argentina, Shantas is a marginal young person who lives in a very poor area and dyed by the practices of the divinities of the Orishás (Umbanda), which are the roots of his forbears proceeding from the slavery in Argentina. In Benin Morenike is looking for an urgent help for the illness of her son. She goes from the modern medicine to traditional beliefs. The young Shantas believes himself invincibly. Immediately after the last of his fights, his violent life will find the way of the "renaissance" to his deeper roots in the African continent. Between fantastic story and modern fable, the film raises an introspection in the useless history of the Africans in Argentina.
